Al Qasimi
This large and bright space has an abundance of modern technology allowing your guest speaker, panel speakers or company chairperson at the lectern to deliver a talk that is viewed, heard and absorbed by all. The space also serves extremely well for large dinners and receptions, and can even be halved with discreet electronically operated walls to create an event area in conjunction with an adjoining room – Al Qasimi North and Al Qasimi South.
His Highness Dr Sheik Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of the emirate of Sharjah and member of its Supreme Council, is committed to education – particularly the education of engineers. The third largest of the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah offers an illustration of the central role that engineering can play in a nation’s social and cultural development.
The lecture theatre will play a major role in engaging with the engineering community in the UK and across the globe. The Al Qasimi Lecture Theatre acknowledges the Academy’s continuing relationship with His Highness and the American University of Sharjah – of which he is President and Founder.
